Pray...It is happening!
This is an exciting time of year. We are finishing our first school year! So many wonderful things are happening! Students are seeing the results of many days of intensive preparation for their promotion to First Grade. We have hired two new teachers who will be our first First Grade teachers! Our enrollment for next year is more than we can accommodate so we will have to turn some applicants away. And we are moving ahead on securing a permanent locaton. So, take a moment and read the specifics below. We would love for you to pray for Cornerstone Prep about these things:
For a permanent location
- Please
continue to pray for Cornerstone Prep’s permanent location. School
leaders are working with the seller of a piece of property in Binghampton that
could be a great location for the school. Please ask the Lord to pave the
way of this is the future home for the school.
We have continued to work very hard to find a permanent
location for the school. Because our criteria are very specific (we want
to find a location that is in or near Binghampton, can be renovated to
meet all of the local and federal requirements for a school building, has
room for future growth, and is very inexpensive), we have had a hard time
finding a location that meets our needs.
For First Grade Teachers Preparation for Next School Year
- Thank
the Lord for filling all of our teachers needs for the upcoming school
year. Ali Hill and Lisa Purdy are great additions to the teaching staff.
For a New Class of Students for 2011-2012
- Parents
continue to bring us applications for Kindergarten spots for the 2011-2012
school year. At the current rate of applications received, we will turn
down a large number of parents who want their child to attend Cornerstone
Prep.
For Financial Support for a Growing School
- Financial constraints are the only thing that will keep these children
from receiving an outstanding Christina education. Please ask the Lord to
bring donors and financial support to allow even more children in the community
to attend Cornerstone Prep.
Since we will be serving twice as many Prepsters in 2011-2012 school year, our need for
financial support will be increasing. As people consider their giving in the next few weeks, please ask the Lord to put Cornerstone Prep
on the minds and hearts of those who could make a gift to help us do this
great work.
