Why We Are Located Near Binghampton?
We strategically located Cornerstone Preparatory School Binghampton Community in Memphis. This location is based on two primary factors: Binghampton is a high needs neighborhood with great potential and deep relationships with partners who share a common goal of making Binghampton a healthy and thriving community.
Our Location
Cornerstone
Preparatory School is located at 4488 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee where Christ Church has graciously provided classroom and administrative offices for the 2001-2012 school year. Since we are growing one grade a year, we will need a much larger facility. God willing, we are planning to purchase a permanent location in the Binghampton area opening in the fall of 2012.
Today - Pray for a Permanent Location
We have some
important things happening right now at Cornerstone Prep about which we would
love you to pray as we seek a permanent location. We have continued to work very hard to find a permanent
location for the school. Because our criteria are very specific (we want
to find a location that is in or near Binghampton, can be renovated to
meet all of the local and federal requirements for a school building, has
room for future growth, and is very inexpensive), we have had a hard time
finding a location that meets our needs. However, we have identified what we hope is our permanent location in Binghampton. We still are seeking approvals from the state prior to finalizing the purchase. Please ask the Lord to
speak clearly to us, letting us know if this site is the one
He desires for us.
