Drew Sippel, Executive Director, and Lisa Settle, Principal, have created the foundation for an urban school that recognizes the challenges of working with the issues that urban youth face and crafts curriculum to allow them to be the best they can be.
Our staff is a wonderful group of dedicated folks who commit many long hours to their craft. They have fully embraced the idea that each child will, if they desire, receive a degree from one of the most prestigious universities in the country.

The Board of Directors believe deeply in the power of the gospel and the empowering leverage that a good education can bring to the lives of the children living in urban Memphis. Their hearts have been broken by the conditions that have too long existed in Memphis.
God has laid on their hearts the desire to establish a Christ-centered, preparatory school serving the inner city. The Cornerstone Preparatory School is the result of many months of planning and hard work. Each board member has a long standing interest in the building the capacity of our youth through education.
They are excited at what God is doing in the inner city. They look forward to 2023 when the first class from Cornerstone Preparatory School will begin college.
