Accountability Plan

1. Goal:
Students will be proficient and improved readers of the English Language.
Measure:
75% of Cornerstone Prep
students who have attended the school for two or more years will score in the
Proficient or Advanced category on the TCAP Reading test, beginning in the 3rd
grade.
Measure:
In a cohort analysis of
longitudinal growth, the average annual increase of percentiles among
Cornerstone Prep students on the Terra Nova Reading Test will average 5
percentiles per year until the average percentile score reaches 75 beginning in
the 3rd grade.[1]
Measure:
The percentage of
Cornerstone Prep students who have attended the school for two or more years
who attain a TCAP Reading score of Proficient or Advanced in the 3rd
through 5th grade will exceed the average percentage for comparable
Memphis City Schools by at least 15%.

75% of Cornerstone Prep
students who have attended the school for two or more years will score in the
Proficient or Advanced category on the TCAP Math test, beginning in the third
grade.
Measure:

longitudinal growth, the average annual increase of percentiles among
Cornerstone Prep students on the Terra Nova Math Test will average 5
percentiles per year, until the average percentile score reaches 75.

5. Goal: Cornerstone Prep will be fully enrolled and demonstrate high levels of daily attendance and student retention.
Measure:
Cornerstone Prep student
enrollment will be at 100% of the projected enrollment described in the
enrollment plan at the beginning of each year.
Measure:
90% of the students who
begin the school year at Cornerstone Prep will remain in the school throughout
the academic year.
Measure:
90% of the students who
complete the school year at Cornerstone Prep will re-enroll for the following
school year.
Measure:
Cornerstone Prep will
average 95% daily student attendance in each school year.
[1] Scores will
be based on same-student grade-level cohorts evaluated in June of each year,
except when it is necessary to evaluate new students in September upon entering
the school. Percentile scores will
be converted into NCEs, averaged, and then returned to percentile scores to
ensure statistical accuracy.
Scores will be available for reporting to the state records and other
interested parties in both NCEs and Percentile scores. These procedures apply to TerraNova
goals in Reading, Writing, and Math.
